17 Aug - 16 Oct 2009 - Fasting/Raya Break

After Fasting/Raya break, training will be on every Sat only and Sunday is rest day or tournament day. Every training, please bring both boots and street soccer shoes. In the event, Bishan Active Park is used for match, we will then immediately proceed to nearest Street Soccer Court. Girls team will also be training with us after the break.

Street Soccer Tournament

See below for names of players involved in the above on 16th August 2009 (Sunday). Players need to be at venue at 7.30am. Venue to be advise but it is in Ang Mo Kio area. No late-comers pls. Players must bring along their Identification Card/Passport/Vehicle License or any card with photograph and i/c no stated. Shinpad is a MUST!!

This sunday training is at Bishan Active Park, Bishan St 22. Bishan Active Park is opposite Catholic High Sch. Training at 2pm but players pls be there by 1.50pm. Once there, pls change to your boots and get ready for training. Bus Service 13, 54, 88 and 52. Alight at Catholic High School bus stop. See yall this sunday. please spread around.

Vonda Cup 19 July 09

We saw lotsa familiar faces and we made even more friends. Gluteus Maximus whom we met in NSSL the first time, was there too.. La Plata Jr during Samsung AYG, Automobile Alliances during Futsal Banana, Brazilian Boys during Ulu Pandan, and the list goes on. Other teams are recognising Tridon more and more now. Although we cant change the green Vonda jersey to another color but I guess it adds more colors to our blue shorts..hehe.. Very competitive tournie with lots of good teams around. The weather was hot hot hot! We won the first game 2-0 to Villagers FC. Nicely done 1st score by our in-house prankster Apek and superb finishing score by LoLoK. Automatic win during the 2nd match as Triconites didnt show up and a draw with JKM. As usual, tried my very best to take the team photo but with apek around its a challenge to me.. hahaha. Welcome back apek! haha.. The boys did their very best on that day. But luck is still not with us yet. We lost 1-0 to Suck Thumb Boys. Dont give up Tridonians, heads up.. We had fun on that day. We laughed, fight and play around together. Well one thing for sure, at least my boys didnt get confused over the referee's whistle..haha.. Teringat abg number 7 from Kiki Lala..hehe.. Before the 2nd round, Mamat needs to go as some family emergency pop-up. Hope its nothing serious. We are down by one player. During the 2nd round match, LoLoK was injured. Gosh!! The boys tried very hard to score..Mon with his powerful shots, Wawan showing off his skills, if wawan managed to score with that chest move.. its the most impressive goal ever but the ball hit the upper goal post instead. but nice touch there wawan. Anyway, i'm sure we gonna have our re-match with the Suck Thumb Boys in another tournie. I'm looking forward to it.. HeHeHe (smiling with an evil grin on my face). The Management would like to say thanks to Aiman for being supportive and our medic for the day..erm..hehe.. Thanks to Coach Merah, Uncle Ali, Titi, Ice, Lydia and Ahmad for their constant support. We also get to meet Encik Sayed from Automobile Alliances, another dear friend of Tridon United. All-in-all, a round of applause to our warriors on that day. Lets focus on the 11-aside now. Training as usual this sunday. We gonna rest for 2 months during fasting month but be prepared, I'm might be submitting the team for the SunStarSports Singapore Cup after that. InsyaAllah.. Be Prepared!!! Kak SnowQueen will be back and will be more vicious than ever. AS ONE TRIDON FEAR NONE!!

Juz got an sms from Forza. Apparently Forza overlooked on the date. Date for friendly match confirmed back to 1 Aug 2009. No changes on venue and time. Please spread around.

Vonda Cup Updates

Players involved - DoDoL (capt), Mon, LoLoK, Khai, Iko, Wawan, Hafiz GK, replacement of Semut will be advised by the Management on the very morning itself. Aiman and Mamat, pls ensure that you guys come for this Sunday tournie as either one of you will be replacing Semut and also as standby if there are hiccups on the players attendance.

Players, meeting point at Boon Keng MRT at 6.45am. Dont be late!!! Abg BG will pick you guys at the carpark behind Boon Keng MRT. We need to be there early so we can park the lorry within Khalsa premises if permitted. Those going straight to Khalsa Association, please be there by 7.10am. Dont be late. Rules of tournament will be briefed at 7.20am. Total teams 44-48 teams. Team registration at 7.30am. You will see lotsa familiar teams in Vonda Cup, some in Ulu Pandan Street Soccer, NSSL, Futsal Banana, AYG, etc.. Dont forget to bring boots, shinguard and NRIC. Hafiz dont forget your gloves.

Announcement

Kino, our Captain, has withdrawn from Tridon United. The Management respected his decision. Kino, Thank you for all your efforts.

Hence, with effect from today 16 July 2009, Tridon United Vice Captain, Azhar aka DoDoL is the newly appointed Captain. Congratulations.

Ulu Pandan Street Soccer Championship 12 July 2009

ULU PANDAN STREET SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP - 12 JULY 2009
Both the Tridon United's teams managed to qualify to QuarterFinals under the Winners Pool. Tridon Utd Ra's first game was a walkover coz the opponent team didnt show up on time. Tridon Utd Anubis won the first game (5-3) against Street 11, our fellow friends (see photo). Good to see Street 11 again. Our friendship begun during the Futsal Banana in March 09. QuarterFinals - Tridon Utd Ra draw 1-1, and lost in the Sudden Death Penalty Shoot out.. Tridon Utd Anubis draw 2-2, and lost in the Sudden Death Penalty Shoot Out too. The scorers are Mon, 3 goals, DoDoL, 2 goals, Pa'An, 2 goals and Wawan, 1 goal. High quality skills and sportsmanships shown, well done. We also had fun on that day.. While waiting for our turn, some of players went to play jousting..haha.. see vids uploaded below.. we cheered for the under 13 team, Tengah FC.. cute fellows with undying winning spirits from them. They also cheered for Tridon when we are in the war ground.. we also waved to the passengers of the train each time it ride passed the Ulu Pandan CC coz the tracks are juz right behind it.
