9aside Mitra Tournie - 16 Aug 2009

Last minute tournie entry by Tridon after the street soccer tournie was cancelled. Weather was extremely hot on tournie day. Tournie started off with kick-off match Tridon vs Todak FC. Todak FC won the match 1-0 when Tridon defence made a mistake and gave Todak FC to score their one and only score with us. Good goalkeeping skills by Bob when he saved one of the opponent's shoot with only one hand and the ball just stuck to his palm. DoDoL managed to join us yesterday. Good to see DoDoL around as he is always the heartbeat of Tridon. Hearing him shouting on the field and guiding the boys along with Mon's. First game Tridon only played with 7 players (without any striker on the field) as there are a little hiccups in the morning. Good game plan by Simon. Thanks Simon. Second and Third match, Tridon went for battle with all the 9 warriors. We also gave Hafiz keeper his debut as a striker on the 3rd match. Second match Tridon vs Hougang Villagers. Its a draw match 1-1. Last minute score by AmiLemon with a header and defeated the opponent's keeper for a goal for Tridon. Yes I agree with Abg BG that the 3rd match was the best match for Tridon. Good Defencing. We are attacking most of the time. Good communications on the field. Last match Tridon won 1-0 with Paan taking the free kick and score!!! A direct goal from Pa'an straight from the free kick. WOW! NICE ONE PA'AN!! Great job there Pa'an. We missed by 1 point to go through to QuarterFinal.

Yesterday match made me realise one thing. All my players need to be versatile and not to just stick to one position. I have plans after the break with regards to this issue. After the break, there will be 2 tournaments. Street soccer and 5 aside. Back to back. 18 Oct - street soccer tournie and 25 Oct - 5aside tournie. I can see that some of my players have improved tremendously and some still need fine tuning. I seriously cant wait for all my key players to be back and go for battles with Tridon United.

Anyway last but not least, have a good break and I see yall again first Saturday in October for training. And Selamat Berpuasa to all Tridonians. Insyaallah I will arrange berbuka puasa ramai2 end of the month.

Please take note Street soccer tournie tomoro is cancelled. But I managed to register TRIDON UNITED for the 9aside tournament tomorrow. Its a last minute registration.

Players involve: Mon, DoDoL (Capt), Hafiz Numero Uno, BoB, Ahmad, AmiLemon, Aiman, Indra, Suhaimi, Paan, Iko and Simon. Apizstar on standby/medic.

Compulsory: Identification card, shinpad and boots.
Venue: Field next to Kembangan MRT.
Time: Must be there by 7.30am.

ATTENTION!! Rule the street Tournie

Players involve please take note. This tournie might happen. Mafia has sms me that he can't be with us on 16th Aug, so I will get him replaced. I need confirmation from all the players involved. Announcement..

New rules will be imposed after the break.
1. Training will be change to every Saturday at 5pm-7pm. Sunday is a rest day unless we have tournaments.
2. No more after tournament allowances but allowances of $20 will be given every end of the month but in order to receive this allowances, attendance of each player must be 100% during training. Those players who don't have 100% attendance during training will not be eligible for the monthly allowances.
3. Tridon United will be seeing more new faces during training after the raya break as we are recruiting a few more. This is a tough decision from the Management but to those who has shown no commitments especially during trainings, we have to say good bye. The Management will decide in October.
4. Tridon United 'Neith', meaning Egyptian Goddess of War, our gals team will start their training after the raya break as well.

Last but not least, selamat menyambut bulan yg mulia, Ramadhan to all my Tridonians.

The 2nd Goalkeeper jerseys have been purchased and sponsored by our Administrator, SnowPrincess. Hurray!!! It's going to the printers. All 3 of my goalkeepers will have their 2nd jerseys. As promised by the Management, Adidas it is. The 2nd jerseys for the whole entire squad will be purchased soon. Thank you SnowPrincess!!

A Vow!!!

After reading another team's webbie criticizing Tridon without knowing Tridon's soccer background, this quote suddenly came across my mind. You wrote the good stuffs abt your team but where are the bad ones that happened on the field??? Wish i had videod the game and post it in my blog. Let the readers decide...

Yes, its Tridon United's first 11aside. Tridon United who never played 11aside before is only defeated by 1 goal difference. Total score is only 3-2 (3-2 without 7 of my key players playing last Saturday). I will make sure Tridon United is in every soccer scene, be it 11aside, futsal, street soccer even beach soccer. Be a versatile team!!

A rematch will be extended to that particular team but not 11aside.. lets do street soccer! Tridon have accepted your invites in your arena previously. How abt it? Approach me if its on. I'm sure the guys from the particular team read my blog too.

Due to some players who cant commit, there are changes in the players list. Please take note. Names have been submitted to the organiser just now. ID with photo and shinpad is compulsory! Venue at Ang Mo Kio street soccer court opposite Bishan Park. Players must be at venue by 7.30am for team briefing and jersey distribution. All teams must register by 8am. Kick-off at 8.30am.

Friendly with Team Forza 1 Aug 2009

Tridon United first ever 11aside was a job well done. Totally different gameplay from Futsal or street soccer and my boys were a little unorganized during the 1st 15mins of the game as we are used to a smaller battle field. Both my keepers did a gd job. Well done. Too bad my NUMERO UNO keeper and most of my key players like DoDoL, Wawan, Epul and a few more cant be with us yesterday.

Team Forza scored their first goal during the 1st half. 2nd half, team Forza scored their next 2 goals and they are already celebrating till suddenly the Tridonians came back superbly by applying speed on Forza. Good defencing by Iko, Pa'an, Simon and Aiman. We scored 2 goals, one after another. Lots of cursing and swearing from Team Forza to the Tridonians in the field. Tridonians still maintained their discipline and sportsmanship with the cursing and swearing given by Team Forza. Well done Tridonians. Coz my warriors knew they gonna get hell from me if they misbehave in the battle field. Tridon United believes in playing professionally with sportsmanship. Whats the use of having good players with no discipline. I would also like to say welcome back to our AmiLemon. Hurray!!

Final score Team Forza 3, Tridon United 2. Scored by Indra and Mon. First goal by Indra with Mon assisting. Second goal by Mon with Apizstar assisting. One yellow card given to AmiLemon. Hehe.. A big round of applause to all my warriors. Thank you to all the supporters who came down yesterday.

In conclusion, our very first 11aside was a blast with the score 3-2. Not bad. We are ready for more 11aside but still focussing on Futsal and street soccer. Maybe next time we can ask Forza if they wanna play friendly Futsal with us..*wink and smile.

Good job and well done! The management would like to thank all the warriors for their efforts and hardwork. But dont headswell coz we can do better next time and be the BEST! Sorry no photo taken yesterday guys as I was too excited.. Haha..
